Equality for men and women, what is feminism?
Yes, they are, so it’s not the clothes but the mentality of people that result in these actions. “The advocacy of women’s rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes” this is the definition that Google gives me for feminism. ‘equality’ will be achieved only when we stop making laws about women and we start imposing those on men as well.
I am a girl in my twenties, my mother always taught me “TEHEZEEB” (trimming or cutting out the bad in one’s behavior) also with that came, your ma is your best friend feel free to discuss anything you want to. To my knowledge, this is a less discussed topic and the privilege of sharing problems is also not provided when it comes to guys.
There are two sides to this first is boys/ men become adamant and start thinking they can do whatever they want to second, they build a wall around them and suppress their emotional side and ignore their problems to prove how strong they are. It all starts with how people are raised, parenting is a huge responsibility.
If men were taught how to behave, the crime against women would not have reached the current numbers. So-called advocates of society point out what women wear, my question is why can men wear whatever they want to and women can’t?
Will you believe if I say even men are harassed and molested and raped too?
When we stop false accusing men for our benefit. When we have the answer to “why should only women be given the benefit of doubt”. It’s simple, we reap what we sow. I will tell you what the problem is: men are scared. When we stop glorifying only women’s problems and shift our focus to what men are facing too, we automatically generate a sense of responsibility amongst “human beings” towards each other. The problem is real, let us focus there, and not create fake rumors to gain Instagram followers and publicity.
I don’t know if this is suitable , this is my take on the situation.
