This is even worse because we can’t prevent it by wearing masks or by sanitizing ourselves.

But by keeping our minds open towards every forward every share we receive. We can stop from spreading it.

How Indian media is playing vital role in spreading fake news?

Recently, because of fake news many innocent migrant workers came out on road just by one rumour spread by a tv journalist on one of very reknown channel. The number of migrants were in thousands, where everyone is trying hard to maintain social distancing. One rumour had already put there life on high risk .

Few days prior very known face “Baba Ramdev ” was seen spreading fake news about Corona virus. He stated using mustard oil can help cure corona and many such rumors. And these was on very know platforms of our country.

Hope our media will use their power in much better way.

HOW CAN WE SAVE OURSELVES FROM THIS VIRTUAL VIRUS?

Only thing we could do is be open about what information we are receiving or forwarding. Sometimes we forward messages without cross checking it or without verifying its authentication. So before forwarding any messages or news forward we must verify it.
