UP Journalist succumbs to his death after being shot

Vikram Joshi, a journalist succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday – two days after he was shot in the Ghaziabad region of Uttar Pradesh. The family of the journalist believed that the attack on Vikram Joshi was due to the police complaint he had made against a group of men harassing his niece.

His brother told the media that the negligence of the police to investigate Joshi’s complaint led to his brutal murder. Police have arrested nine men in relation to the murder. In addition to that, the District police chief has suspended two officials and requested an investigation.
