The steady rise in non-COVID related health claims

The health insurance sector has witnessed a steady rise in non-COVID related health claims over the past five months. These are mostly related to cancer, dialysis, cataract surgeries, and cardiac treatments. According to Bhaskar Nerurkar of Bajaj Allianz, although the non-COVID claims fell in April and May, however, they rose by up to 64 percent in the month of July.
