Sweater season or raincoat season?

Mumbai experienced the second coldest day in decades since 2010 with a temperature of 24.8 degrees Celsius. Back then in 2010 when the mercury dipped to 27.8 degrees Celsius and now because of unseasonable rain. The city also recorded the highest 24 hours of December rain. However, people are confused that whether to wear a sweater or raincoat. In the month of staring at winter OOTD people in Mumbai were busy searching their umbrellas and raincoats which they threw away with other stored things for the next rainy season, never expecting that it will fall so early.
Rains in December are rare. Last year on December 11, 0.7 mm of rain was recorded due to low-pressure weather, 1.2 mm on December 5, 2019. But 2021 December rain was the highest of all time. 19.12 mm of rain recorded in the last 24 hours ending 8.30 am today by the IMD Santacruz observatory.
The nighttime temperature fell below 20 degrees Celsius, 21.4 degrees a day earlier, and 23.4 degrees on Monday. A minimum temperature in the city remained below normal for the past two days and is likely to stay below through the weekend, the India meteorological department (IMD) officials have said.
However, this is not something new as Mumbai is getting too many unseasonable showers due to climate change and people in Mumbai went on cursing when someone responsible for this is the people as humans. Some were sharing memes and cracking jokes, while some were happy, enjoying the winter rain, but some were frustrated as hardly a few enjoy the uninvited relatives.
Yesterday according to India Meteorological Department (IMD) the Mumbai was on yellow alert, however, no alert has been issued for today. It is expected to be clement weather tomorrow. But this is not the end of unseasonable rains as the city and many more parts of India located near coastal regions may receive uninvited rain in the future.
