Rise in Cyberattacks on Smart Devices Amidst the Covid-19 Outbreak: SN Balasubramanian, Check Point Software

According to SN Balasubramanian of Check Point Software, one of the leading cybersecurity solution providers, the Covid-19 the outbreak has resulted in an increased number of cyberattacks in India. Amidst the ongoing crisis, an Indian organization, on average is more likely to face cyber-attacks compared to its global counterparts. Based on data, 11 percent of the Indian organizations face mobile malware vis-à-vis the global figure of 4.5 percent.
