MINOR GIRL HARASSED IN COVID CENTRE

A minor girl, who tested positive for Covid-19 and was admitted to a Covid care facility in Delhi, was sexually assualted by another patient inside the facility on July 15.  The girl stated that on the night of 15th July she was sexually harassed by a 19 year old boy in the bathroom. Police have arrested the accused and a second individual who purportedly recorded the assualt. 

Police said they received a complain from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), who are managing the facility. A case has been registered against the two accused under IPC 376 and the POSCO Act.
