Kolkata’s Kalighat temple to reopen with new rules.

With a slew of other restrictions, Kolkata’s Kalighat temple will restart on July 1,with forbiddance to enter the ‘garba griha’ or sanctum sanatorium. With the new SOP formed on Saturday, only 10 devotees will be allowed on the temple premises at a time. 
People will have to enter via Gate number 2 and exit via Gate 4.The timings have been revised from 6 am to noon and from 4pm to 7pm. The Committee Vice-President, Bidyut Halder said that prasad offerings/exchange, sindoor tika, flowers or charanamrit would not be allowed in the Kalighat temple.
