India prepares for Covid-19 vaccine launch

India is partnering with Anganwadi centres & schools for rolling out vaccinations for Covid-19. A blueprint report confirms the identification of buildings by the government to be utilized as booths for vaccination.

This further will be preceded with a list of persons to be immunised linking them with their Aadhaar cards to avoid duplicity & aid in tracking beneficiaries.

This process is to be monitored by the ministry of Union Health’s digital arm and would involve SMS being sent generating QR codes after each inoculation drive, all in the hope for better days to come.
