Independent panel for pandemic COVID-19 set up by W.H.O

The world health organization‘s director Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced in 73rd world assembly that his organization has made an “independent panel for pandemic preparedness and response (IPPR)”. The main purpose of this panel is to handle COVID-19 pandemic and evaluate response by government worldwide. It will be co-chair by former Prime Minister of New Zealand HELEN CLARK along with ELLEN JOHNSON SIRLEAF. The board will present its “interim report” in November 2020 and its substantive report in May 2021 at the next meeting.
