Fire at Natanz nuclear facility is deterrent to Iran’s progress of its nuclear programme.
A fire broke out at Natanz nuclear facility, Iran last week and caused significant damage that could slow the development of advanced centrifuges. Apparently, there is no report of death or injury. Iranian officials said it may have been caused by cyber-sabotage and one warned Tehran would retaliate against any country carrying out such attacks. The incident could slow down the development and production of advanced centrifuges in the medium term. In the wake of the killing of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani, Iran raised the red flag against the US which meant they are preparing for an attack. The fire in the Natanz nuclear facility and the alleged cyber sabotage is said to be a US-sponsored Act by the Iranian.
