Due to heavy rains government offices declare a holiday in Mumbai

Mumbai and various other parts of Maharashtra witness heavy downpour resulting in waterlogging and disrupted transportation facilities in several areas. The Maharashtra Government viewing the condition in the state announces a holiday for its offices on Tuesday. Officially declared by the State relief and rehabilitation department, “Due to the heavy rainfall in Mumbai and the suburban region and prediction of ( more ) heavy rainfall by the IMD, the holiday has been declared for all state government offices in the Mumbai and Mumbai suburban region today.”
