In a notification which is released by the University of Delhi, the academic calendar for the year 2020-2021 has been modified. As per the academic calendar issued for postgraduate and graduate courses, dispersal of classes will start from November 28th for odd semesters. Odd semester (I, III, V) examinations will begin from December 12th. Winter break will start from December 29th.

Furthermore, classes for even semesters (IV, VI, VIII) will begin on January 2nd, 2021. Examinations for the same will be conducted from 15th May to 29th May 2021. Classes for Odd semesters usually start from Early July, however, due to Covid-19, the classes commenced from 10th August. With no mid-semester break and the winter break lasting for only three days, continuous online classes are bound to take a toll on students.

Delhi University students have already expressed their problem with virtual learning and the new academic calendar just proves that the schedule for teachers and students will remain hectic throughout the semester.
