Deadline to Submit Bids for Air India Extended by Two Months

The central government has extended the deadline to submit bids for Air India till October 30 due to the economic disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

This is the fourth extension granted by the government since the stake sale initiated on January 27. According to the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management, this decision is taken considering the requests from interested bidders amidst the ongoing pandemic.
