Carlyle and Softbank Proposals to buy Reliance stakes put on hold

Citing strong investor demand from Reliance Retail, the proposals of Carlyle and Softbank have been put on hold. Earlier, Reliance Retail’s decision to acquire the retail business of Future Retail had solidified Reliance’s position in the Indian retail market.
