Be ready for oxygen mask next
Due to the increasing population, we are not far from that day when the mask will be replaced by the oxygen mask. Maybe we have to live with masks forever.
The overall air quality in Delhi on Wednesday morning remained in the very poor category as it stood at 316. According to the system of air quality and weather forecasting and Research (SAFAR), the overall air quality will improve to 305, but it will still continue to be in the very poor category.

SAFAR has urged the people in Delhi to reduce intense physical activities which may lead to breathing problems. Residents of Delhi have complained about various respiratory diseases which they are facing due to pollution.
Even if it will deteriorate tomorrow, the destruction of health is already being done and it’s not the first time that pollution has increased to this extent in Delhi.
Delhi comes under the category of most polluted cities and the pollution becomes worst in winter season.
The reason behind this is vehicular and industrial pollutants, crop burning, which gives its contributions more in winter and other weather conditions.
Construction and demolition activities has been banned from 22 November and will continue till further orders in view of the high air pollution. The ban on the entry of trucks, banning those engaged in essential services is extended till 7th December as per the Delhi Government order CNG and electric trucks will be allowed to enter Delhi.
Physical classes in schools, colleges and other educational institutions and government offices reopened on Monday.

- Use public transport more.
- Use more CNG vehicles.
- Stop burning leaves, old tyres and other items.
- Plant more trees.
