A Passenger boat overturns, killing several people in Bangladesh

A passenger boat overturned in the Netrakona district in Northern Bangladesh, at the time it was carrying 50 people approximately. At least thirty people were able to swim across to safety, the divers recovered 17 bodies.
Incidents like such are common across the wetland regions due to the fact that the country has a very vulnerable geographical condition.
As more than 230 rivers overlap one another in several regions, it had to suffer the onslaught of monsoon rains and surge of waters from upstream India.
