Andaman and Nicobar Islands gets a major upgrade

Internet connectivity has become increasingly important for people in the most fundamental sense. That is perhaps the reason why the residents of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands had been demanding a 4g internet connection for a long time.
The internet connection that was relayed to the Islands was through Vsat tech, which made it very slow.
Airtel launched an ultra-speed 4g connection after Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a new under-sea optical fiber cable last week. This 1,224 crores undersea cable project helped to connect Chennai and Andaman and the Nicobar Islands. The vast distance that is covered between these two regions also includes Swaraj Deep, (Havelock), Little Andaman, Long Island, Rangat, Kamorta, Car Nicobar, and Great Nicobar.
With the establishment of the 4g connection in the Islands, the economy is going to flourish, multiple online services would be facilitated, the availability of ultra-speed internet would also bolster the tour and travel industry in the region.
Besides the children wouldn’t be lagging behind in terms of online classes, as well as opening up new employment opportunities to the job seekers.
