48 cases found in world’s largest cruise ship

The world’s largest cruise ship, the Royal Caribbean’s “Symphony of the Seas,” has been revealed to have 48 COVID cases. According to sources, rigorous procedures have been put in place to keep COVID at bay. It was also discovered that the ship carried 6,000 passengers. Miami was where the ship was docked for the weekend.
Testing was done for all the people on the ship as a part of contact tracing after one passenger tested positive. 98 percent of those who tested positive had received all of their vaccinations. The royal carribbean authorities say that the number of people that had tested positive was about 0.78% of the population that was on-board.
At the moment, it is not known whether the people who have tested positive have the Omicron variant or not, but we do know that their symptoms are mild and some are even asymptomatic. The Royal Carribean authorities also inform that the health of the patients is constantly being monitored and they have been quarantined.
