10 can infect 78% on campus in 10 weeks, if opened

A study, authored by an IIM Ahmedabad (IIM-A) professor and an IIT-Delhi (IITD) student may suggest why studying from home (SFH) might be a safer option in the current scenario.
The simulated study points out that a residential educational campus with an average 1,700 people can report 77.7% of the population infected with 0.7% mortality rate in 10 weeks of opening. This can happen even if only 10 people at the beginning of the term are infected and considering other parameters such as social distancing norm, spread pattern and mortality rate match the national average.
