₹39,400 crores extracted from Provident Fund in 5 months

On Monday, Labour Ministry declared the Lok Sabha that ₹39,403 crores had been withdrawn between March 25 and August 31 by the members of the Employees “Provident Fund Organisation” (EPFO). Contributors from Maharashtra drawn out near about ₹7,838 crores, Karnatak took out ₹5,744 crores and Tamil Nadu extracted ₹4985 crores as well. 1.04 crore workers claimed the EPFO.
