Pulkit Kohli (Mir Atish)

The very first episode of Voice of Youth opens with Pulkit Kohli, better known as Mir Atish — a rising music producer and rapper who turns socio-political issues into verse.

He is credited with sparking a trend he calls ‘news rapping’, translating current affairs into music, with recent work like ‘Manushitty’ finding an audience well beyond India. It is a raw, informal conversation that set the tone for the series: giving the mic to young creators and activists.
